POLICIES & GRIEVANCE PROCEDURES
The Claremont Colleges take complaints of sexual misconduct seriously and will take prompt and appropriate action to respond to reports of sexual misconduct, including sexual violence, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. While each institution has its own sexual misconduct policy and grievance procedures for resolving complaints of sexual misconduct, we share similar definitions and work closely together when there are inter-campus allegations.

If you have questions about your institution’s policy and grievance procedures, contact your Title IX Coordinator. Even if you have questions about another institution’s policy and/or grievance procedures, we recommend you start by contacting your Title IX Coordinator. They will facilitate communication with the Title IX Coordinator at the other school.
Cross-Campus Incidents
Given the unique nature of The Claremont Colleges, there is a great deal of interaction among our communities both in and out of the classroom. The colleges are committed to working together when there is an incident involving individuals from more than one institution. If you have experienced sexual misconduct and the alleged perpetrator (the Respondent) is an employee or student from one of the other Claremont Colleges or the Claremont University Consortium, the grievance procedures related to any disciplinary action against the Respondent will be those of the Respondent’s home institution. Your Title IX coordinator can assist you in contacting that institution and discussing support measures and resources.
